Your account

Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 to use The Pass.

Your kitchen’s content

Recipes, photos and other content you add belong to you or your employer. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to run The Pass for you and your team.

Kitchen owners decide who joins their kitchen and what role they have, and are responsible for their team’s use of the app.

Recipe scanner and allergens

The scanner copies text from your photos and flags anything uncertain, but it can make mistakes. A chef must check and confirm every recipe before it is saved.

Quantities, temperatures, food-safety notes and allergen information are only as accurate as what your kitchen entered and confirmed. Always check product labels and follow your local food-safety rules. The Pass is a tool to help your team, not a substitute for professional judgment.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to access other kitchens’ data, break our security, overload the service, or upload content you don’t have the right to use.

Pricing

The Pass is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you can choose whether to continue. Billing problems never lock you out of your recipes; at worst a kitchen becomes read-only.

Availability and changes

We work to keep The Pass available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties, and we may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut down The Pass we will give you notice and a way to export your recipes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate recipe, allergen or food-safety information entered or confirmed by users.

Ending use

You can stop using The Pass and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
